“Diagram”, a drawing about my artistic research process, is displayed on “Section II. DRAWING AS A RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: DIAGRAM / STRUCTURE” of the collective exhibition “El dibujo del saber. Diagrama e investigacion” at the Centre for Human and Social Sciences (CCHS) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
The exhibition is also a dissemination to promote human and social sciences awareness and is part of the “CSIC Science Week”, a national outreach event held annually in Spain.

“El dibujo del saber” muestra cómo procesos gráficos muy rudimentarios pueden convertirse en recursos cognitivos y metodológicos desde la práctica artística para la investigación y la transferencia del conocimiento.
El dibujo como herramienta cognitiva necesita de una disciplina y de la construcción de un marco conceptual y procesual concreto. La modelización plástica, que en el arte ha conservado y explorado intensiva y extensivamente sus capacidades, se ofrece así como modelo de integración cognitiva, como herramienta de intensificación perceptiva, estructural, relacional, contextual y creativa, como recurso metodológico para la investigación, y como transferencia de conocimiento e inducción instituyente de los inciertos criterios de objetividad.
