Description
Images of Rio Tinto, Huelva (Spain).

River named after the rusty color of its water. Tinto in Spanish is used for the red wine (vino tinto).
Acidic waters with heavy metals.
This river is in a mining exploitation area.
This river is being examined by astrobiologists as a Mars analogue.
It is an alien environment. They don’t allow apparent life, only extremophile microorganisms can survive.
They are from another world, but humans apparently cannot survive in other planets.
