River named after the rusty color of its water. Tinto in Spanish is used for the red wine (vino tinto).
Acidic waters with heavy metals.
This river is in a mining exploitation area.
This river is being examined by astrobiologists as a Mars analogue.
It is an alien environment. They don’t allow apparent life, only extremophile microorganisms can survive.
They are otherworldly, but humans apparently cannot survive in planets other than Earth.
